Design of turning machine C axe

The subject of this thesis is the construction of turning machine C axis. The first part of this work includes a search of possible methods of construction drive C axis. The second part includes a choice of drive parameters, conceptual proposals for possible solutions and selecting the most appropriate variant. Also included is a 3D model of the lathe spindle with the C axis, modeled in SolidWorks 2007 and assembly drawing of spindle with C axis.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a rotary table for a machine tool. In the first part are described main types of rotary tables, existing approaches being used in design of drives and options in applicating modern components for rotary tables currently available on the market. The purpose of the second part is to design a rotary table with a torque motor drive for application in a milling machine.

This thesis deals with design of CNC lathe milling head with B axis. Thesis includes research in CNC turning machines, their tool systems and overview of manufacturers of milling B axis. It also includes calculation of machining forces, design of spindle and design of B axis including necessary calculations. Part of this thesis is also 3D model and assembly drawing, 2 manufacturing drawings and list of items.

The main theme of this thesis is an analysis, desing and construction of a planetary gearbox used for a drive of a vertical lathe table. The theoretical part of the thesis describes fundamental features and terms of planetary gearboxes and torque motors. In the next part of my work I design loose functioning of toothing. The calculation part of my work is processed in accordance with technical standards. The practical part of my work deals with a description of the project and the implementation of the device. The drawing documentation is processed with Cad system and it includes general assembly drawing and drawings of the three important components.
